Happy Birthday Amma!

Today is my mothers birthday. She turns 59! She is the backbone of the family and a constant source of strength and courage for everyone. Amma's courage and resolve have never failed to amaze me. She is without a doubt the best-est mother one can have. Happy Birthday Amma!

We will plan for a party next week when she is back with us. May the almighty grant amma with a healthy and prosperous life and more importantly a life of peace and joy. No one in this world deserves this more than her!

Another weekend is upon us and I am wondering how best to spend the time. Maybe do some reading for a change. A shelf full of unread books awaits. Bought some shares of Suven Life Sciences today based not on fundamentals this time but on some kind of gut feel.

Was surprised to see that CSK won the match yesterday. Ashwin and Bollinger could prove to be a handful for the Mumbai Indians on Sunday with the pitch at the DY Patil stadium favoring the spinners. I think it might just be a good idea to get Sanath in for the final and use this slow left armers if needed. Shikar Dhawan hasn't done too great the last few matches and having Sanath gives the Indian's an extra spinning option.

Was waiting for the MotoGP race at Japan this weekend but the race has been postponed due to the problems with volcanic ash in Europe. So not much sport for the weekend except for the IPL finals on Sunday. May just start the hunt for a house this weekend. I'm beginning to wonder if this is a good time to start investing in Mutual Funds through the SIP route. Will have to plan this carefully if I end up buying property in Bangalore. Next week's going to be a busy one with the project I am working on nearing D-Day on May 22nd. A lot of planning needs to be done and the customer isn't the most responsive one in the world. I'm going to have my task cutout for this one. I'm going to be spending the best part of May in Cambodia much to the disappointment of the family. I may squeeze in a trip to Siem Reap again this time with my new lens collection.
